As the eROV Supervisor, the individual is responsible for overseeing all eROV operations, both onsite and remotely, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient execution. A critical aspect of this role includes the adaptability to cross-skill, stepping in to support USV operations during downtime or heightened workload periods, and gaining a foundational understanding of survey operations.
This role contributes significantly to the organization’s operational excellence, commitment to safety, and high-quality service delivery, through effective team management, stringent adherence to policies and standards, and continual enhancement of operational procedures and practices

Job responsibilities:
•
To be safety aware, including organising and managing safety of team, accident reporting, effective use of safety management system, undertake regular safety meetings and Risk Assessments
•
The Supervisor will act under instructions from the (e)ROV Superintendent or the client.
•
The Supervisor is concerned with running one of the shifts, normally opposite to the Superintendent.
•
At the end of the Supervisor s shift, the incumbent will report to the oncoming shift Supervisor, normally the ROV Superintendent, of past operations so as the oncoming shift is fully aware of ongoing tasks.
•
Assist in the control of an effective Planned Preventative Maintenance program.
•
Effective handling of emergency situations / Management of ROV team in such situations
•
Training / assessing Pilot/Technician Grades 1 and 2 and Senior Pilot Technician
•
Organising and managing the team.
•
To be responsible for maintenance of system records
•
A ctively participate in adherence to and improvement of the company Management System on Quality and HSE related issues
You bring (qualifications & experience)
•
3-5 years working experience, In excess of 5 years operational experience with ROV s and eROV operator training, operational and technical.
•
0-3 years Basic level of management experience, teamwork and reporting
•
Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations
•
Conversant with software in use.
•
Proven skills in Mechanics, Electrics and Electronics
•
Ability to communicate at all levels.
•
Maintain a good level of fitness to hold a valid offshore medical certificate.
