Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise & Monitor the Operation & Maintenance of Sewerage Treatment Plants across Nakheel Communities.
Continuously & vigilantly supervise the performance of the Service Providers, report to the management and ensure
that the Service Providers meet KPIs in accordance with the standards set in the Service Level Agreements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Supervise the Service Provider’s performance in accordance with the KPIs set in the Contract
• Arranging meeting with Service Providers on a regular basis to understand the challenges and
resolving the same
• Assessing the STPs conditions and suggesting required upgrades to the management.
• Manage the plant for operation, receive and communicate special instruction for operations such as
shutdown, new schedules, start and stop and pressure build up etc.
• Ensure that Service Provider has all necessary permit to always perform the services.
• Reviewing and implementing contingency plans as and when required.
• Reviewing the PPM & RM schedule submitted by the Service Provider
• Supervise major reactive maintenance works, replacements and projects progress for STP’s and
related infrastructure.
• Reporting any issues related to STPs to the management.
• Reviewing weekly, monthly & Annual reports by the Service Providers and evaluating their
performance and performance of STPs.
• Reviewing & verifying the invoices of Service Providers.
• Preparing Variation & Work orders related to O & M Contracts.
• Coordination with Operations team on the TSE consumptions and other issues related to sewage.
• Performs special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Work closely with HSSE department to ensure all Health & Safety standards are maintained by the
Service Provider of the STPs
Ensure efficiency output performance from the operations of STP’s in terms of flow and quality of TSE
produced.
• Trouble shooting and increasing the performance of Waste treatment equipment
• Implementation of management systems related to sustainability in the STP’s
• Propose and implement technical solutions for odour minimization and attend to complaints by
performing required inspections and eliminating root cause
• Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University
• 5+ years’ experience in the O & M of STPs
• Sound knowledge in Operations, trouble shooting of STP processes
