Roles & Responsibilities
Service Coordinator will be directly reporting to the Branch Manager for the Marine, Offshore & Navy Middle East and will be part of Global Marine & Navy, a division of Johnson Controls where we develop, produce, and market complete HVAC/R and controls systems for Marine, Offshore and Navy applications. We are one of the world’s leading suppliers in this field. Marine & Navy have a global network that provides customers with 24/7 technical support, service and parts.

As a service coordinator your main responsibility will be supporting the Marine HVAC & Refrigeration Service and Technical team with any task or objective assigned accordingly by the Admin Support Team Leader.

How you will do it

As a professional Service Coordinator, you will be closely working with Sales team for acquiring and processing customer orders, inquiries, complaints covering items or products ordered, building positive relationship with selected customers and sales staff. Applying knowledge of products and product availability to provide a communications link to the customer. As a coordinator ensuring consistent and daily schedule communication with the front delivery teams (example – technicians) and, following-up on activities & tasks performed to ensure completion in line with Johnson Controls efficiency standards is part of your day-to-day task. Issuing authorization to release the team for next projects when workloads are down will be your part of responsibilities.

As a guide coordinator you will place orders for materials, parts, tools and sub-contractors, selects the most cost-efficient logistic solution and supplier location to minimize cost on purchased parts and ensures on time spare part’s delivery to job site.

Your responsibility will include Collection of daily feedback on execution (checklists, timesheets, expenses, reports) and ensures all relevant are entered into the Johnson Controls systems & tool. Provides regular consolidated reports to the Field Ops Team Leader. Coordination with the Field Operations Team Leaders on planning and scheduling of front-line delivery teams and planning yearly, monthly and weekly execution of contracts and schedules to align skills appropriately to the needs of the contract in order to ensure maximum efficiency in execution, Plans & schedules holidays, back-ups, training of all technicians.

Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or Degree as applicable.
Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience as coordinator for Service/Aftermarket business within an engineering sector or technical work environment.
Recent experience in scheduling technicians for jobs order processing, prioritizing, organizing, shipping internationally, ordering and negotiating with contractors
You must be proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel spreadsheet,
Good Interpersonal skills
Ability to run multiple tasks.
A team member with high level of dedication
Must have family book
Preferred

Proficient in processing orders on IScala or any equivalent systems
3 year’s of minimum experience in aftermarket business preferably from Refrigeration / HVAC industry
