Senior Quality Engineer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
Verification of incoming material against the approved submittal criteria to ensure conformity on in bound materials.
Preparation of project specific method statements, inspection and test plan and conduct quality induction training to supervisors and foreman at site level against approved MS
Check the project quality compliance prior to consultant visit and ensure the pre inspection check list is adequately maintained and signed by supervisors/ engineers/ QA engineers
Conduct regular inspection at site level along with consultant and communicate the comments during coordination meetings on a weekly basis
Coordinate with project engineers and clear non conforming work executed and record the follow up status.
Record the status of non conformance and action details in site non conformity tracker and present the open NCR during review meetings for effective closure
Develop check list/MS for work and T&C requirements to ensure compliance
Conduct internal audit as per the site execution/ planning and testing and commissioning procedures.
Issue non conformity report on various non conformities identified during audits for corrective action and follow up for its effective implementation.
Conduct review meeting with project manager/ site engineer’s/store keepers, etc and report the status of poor material quality and its impact to the project.
Participate weekly review meetings and review project conformity status related to NCR, drawings approval, submittal approval, CVI/EI approvals prior to work, corrective action plan
Update lesson learned register and submit the report for project close out
Insist monthly KPI submission and update process analyst on its status PM/Engineers KPIs
Regular visit to site work area and verify the acceptance criteria and report the compliance/ non compliances with photos and observations
Daily reporting of site quality violations to QA Manager /GM, escalate customer complaints and open NCRs (pending for 7 days and more)
