Planning Engineer – Road and Infrastructure

Roles & Responsibilities
Role Responsibility:

· Prepare the Baseline with appropriate concept, logic and strategy to achieve the targets, Milestones, deadline etc in consideration of the scope of works

· Analyse the critical path of the project during Baseline Preparation and program updation.

· Prepare weekly, Monthly and Management reports in regular intervals based on the time to time requirement

· Capable to analyse the anticipated risks of the project and advice proper methodology on time to time manner to the project team for avoiding any potential delays to the project

· Sound knowledge about sequence of works, productivity of works and resource allocation based on the specific scope of works

· Prepare Cash flow, Manpower Histogram and equipment/Plant Histogram, risk register, Issue matrix based on requirement of projects.

· Knowledge of NOCS and Authority procedures related to all the services related to Infrastructure.

· Knowledge about contractual terms /conditions and procedures to be followed during the post contract stage

· Identification of Delay events on time, Notifications and particular submission inaligned with contract

· Well –versed with delay analysis methodology like Time impact analysis, window analysis, Impact/Planned etc .. to meet the Claim requirement

· Experience in preparation of Extension of Time with minimum supervision following the condition and procedures of claim based on different contracts

· Negotiation capability and follow up skills with sub-contractors, suppliers and other stake holders related to the project

· Attending progress meetings, Coordination meeting , Claim meeting etc.

· Preparation of Recovery program, Mitigation program and accelerations programs based on the requirement of project

Desired Candidate Profile
*Bachelors in Civil Engineering.

*Minimum 10 years’ experience of construction and project planning experience, ideally on large scale road and infrastructure projects.

*Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Primavera and computer literate. *Interpersonal skill, ethical values and commitment to continual improvement.

*Capable of providing technical leadership in a multi-disciplinary construction environment.

*Excellent communication skills (written reports)

*Must possess a valid UAE driving license
