Piping Engineer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare MTO’s for plastic piping systems based on project specifications, P&ID, blueprints, and other relevant documents.
Prepare technical submittals and proposals.
Collaborate with commercial manager to ensure that estimates are accurate and meet project requirements.
Use Revit software to prepare detailed drawings and schematics of plastic piping systems.
Prepare spools manufacturing drawings.
Handles detailed project documentation and follow up on ITP activities with QC team.
Work closely with internal stakeholders such as planning, procurement, QC & production teams to make sure that all milestones are tracked and achieved.
Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholder to ensure that projects run smoothly.
Responsible of resource planning and making sure that all resources are available as per project deliverables.
Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
Carry regular follow up meeting to resolve bottlenecks as necessary.
Follow up on internal processes and carry optimization activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s in engineering (Mechanical) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Detailed engineering piping design.
Computer – MS Office – Advanced Excel skills
Strong Influencing Personality with effective communication skills.
Excellent project management skills.
REVIT EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. (3D Modeling)
