Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for the performance, development, and welfare of UAE National Cadets throughout their training. Accountable for providing a smooth transition of UAE National trainees from onboarding phase of joining to induction to the Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA) pilot program until course transition and completion. Act as a key focal point, corporate liaison personnel and mentor for UAE National pilot trainees. In addition, ensure GCAA and Emirates requirements are met. Job Outline: – Generic – Ensure cadets are inducted into the organisation, Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA), Emirates Flight Training and Fleet prior to commencing their training. Undertake any administration required for the recruitment process. – Partner with EFTA to ensure that performance feedback is received from the instructors. Plan and produce cadets monthly course progression and development reports to track cadets progress. Undertake performance reviews and initiate capability processes when required. – Manage attendance and individual cases of recurrent short-term or long-term sickness or unauthorised absence, ensuring accurate process followed and recorded on the system, highlighting cases for concern to management for remedial action. – Liaise with external bodies as required, in particular the National Service Authority to ensure that incoming/ outgoing cadet service requirements are met. Provide documentation and communication in a timely manner. – Collaborate with business stakeholder to ensure the effective coordination of activities for the various batches of students. – Establish processes and procedures for the management of the cadet program ensuring regulatory compliance. – Identify process enhancements to ensure cadet training meets industry best practice throughout the cadets training journey and provide make recommendations to improve the service offered, leveraging technology and innovation. – Conduct and facilitate cadets quarterly meeting, ensuring they are aware of the Emirates support network that is available to them. Escalate any cases to the Cadet Pilot Manager as required. – Aviation Science and ATPL (EFTA): – For Ab-initio cadets produce a monthly dashboard to report on performance and attendance of cadets. – Conversion and LIFUS Training (Flight Training): – Ensure all cadets regulatory flying credentials are valid and have been received from EFTA prior to any course start at Flight Training. – Engage with NCC to ensure in advance allocation and slots for all cadets courses for the financial year have been met and make sure future course projections have been shared with Management.
