Roles & Responsibilities
Employment Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and regulations. Provide guidance on contract terms and conditions.
Labour Law Compliance: Stay updated with the latest labour laws and regulations in the UAE. Advise clients on compliance requirements related to employment contracts, working hours, leave policies, and employee rights.
Employee Benefits: Advise clients on employee benefits, such as compensation, health insurance, and end-of-service benefits. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Dispute Resolution: Assist clients in resolving labour disputes and employment-related conflicts. Provide legal representation in labour court proceedings, arbitrations, or mediations.
Termination and Redundancy: Advise clients on lawful termination procedures, redundancy processes, and severance obligations. Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations in all termination-related matters.
Workforce Restructuring: Assist clients in managing workforce restructuring, including reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions. Ensure compliance with labour laws regarding employee transfers, redundancies, and consultation processes.
Employment Policies and Handbooks: Develop and review employment policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations. Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
Compliance Training: Conduct training programs and workshops for clients’ HR teams and employees on labour laws, employment rights, and compliance best practices.
Immigration Compliance: Collaborate with immigration experts to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations concerning the hiring and sponsorship of foreign workers.
Legal Research and Analysis: Stay updated with changes in labour and employment laws and regulations. Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
