Roles & Responsibilities
Access & understand the customer and market need to develop business strategies and implement the plan in coordination with the branch operations, marketing teams to achieve growth in terms of customers, no. of transactions, revenue and ultimately share of wallet in for the corridor/segment.
Develop strategy to build and grow the Arab corridor business volumes, transaction number and the revenue. Work closely with the branches with an objective as follows
· Understanding the branch need based on the customer in that market place and build strategy in discussion with the branch staff including the branch in-charge
· Develop marketing activities based on the customer/market need
· Identify the product/service knowledge gaps and provide them with appropriate training to not only to enhance the knowledge levels but also to ensure that the branch staffs are equipped to sell the products & services on a proactive basis
· As part of the strategy exercise agree on the deliverable in terms of the following with the respective branch and to ensure the same is achieved
New customer acquisition
Achieve growth in % of inactive customers
Achieve progressive growth in number of transactions carried out at each branch / location
Take steps to improve RPT (Revenue per transaction)
Achieve growth in the Revenue per customer through cross selling of other ancillary products and services
· All marketing activities agreed with the branch, a proper approval to be obtained with the Line Manager/General Manager from the list of activities/Cost involved and the ROI. The study and desired outcomes to be supported with appropriate data
· Develop and maintain a customer database for the purpose of generating business, introduction of new products and services, regular and consistent communication to strengthen the relationship
· Ensure periodic communication or contact programs for introduction of the target products and services through SMS and other modes
· Identify partner outlets which is of attraction to the consumer from the corridor/segment, establish relationship for the purpose of running Loyalty programs or Joint marketing campaign to achieve the desired/overall objectives
Relationship with banking partners
· Make use of the existing relationship with partners to discuss, agree and carry out the desired activity by way of Joint campaign for a mutual benefit
· Use the banks relationship to generate leads and to route remittance business volumes through any of the ARIE branch network
Identify new products/services which can be extended to our consumer which will be of mutual benefit to ARIE and our correspondent bank
Competition tracking
· As part of the initiatives/activities it is critical to track competition from the perspective of both, the pricing and other marketing initiatives or campaigns
· Use such information to bring in change in pricing, the way it is communicated by our staff during a sale process through training and regular interaction
