Roles & Responsibilities
Key performance areas
To develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software or manual procedures in order to guarantee timely production of high-quality parts with an optimistic cutting time. To ensure the NC programs are delivered on time to the CNC machines.
Make sure the required sources (tools, inserts, fixtures, gauges) are communicated on time to the concerned departments.
Competencies
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and process plans.
Must be fluent in G & M code and prove out first run programs daily.
Must demonstrate good eye-hand coordination and agility.
Being self-directed and working in team environments is expected.
Positions will require weekend or off shift scheduling to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
Possess five (5) or more years’ experience in aerospace industry, operating and set up knowledge of standard CNC controllers,
· Familiar with Fanuc and Siemens control programming
Knowledgeable of milling & turning machining technology
Mechanical principles
Shop mathematics
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Must read, write, and speak English.
Bachelor degree or High school diploma.

Key Activities and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ø Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications.
Ø Understand GD&T and apply it during the programming process.
Ø Use of CAD to create part models and geometry as needed.
Ø Use of MASTERCAM, FUSION 360 programming for multi-axis mill-turn machines.
Ø Use of Mastercam, FUSION 360 & CIMCO for NC file verification prior to manufacturing release.
Ø Determine optimal tooling and cutting parameters based on material and setup.
Ø Understand and implement work holding for manufacturing processes.
Ø Plan and execute manufacturing processes individually or as a team.
Ø Work individually or as a team on continuous improvement efforts.
Ø Provide Engineering and Management information that affects part quality or schedule.
Ø Maintain revision and quality control on programs, tool sheets, and setup documentation.
