* PURPOSE

To act as a leader of storeroom to ensure that the storerooms run smoothly and efficiently

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be willing to accept responsibilities of storerooms Must have a commitment to follow all Four Seasons policies and procedures, as they are related to the Purchasing department Must be able to work in a safe, prudent and organized manner and be able to promote team work Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Arabic language

JOB FUNCTIONS:

The ability to work together with purchasing team to ensure that all incoming merchandise is dated, priced and rotated in all circumstances The ability to ensure that all requisitions are filled in a timely basis in accordance with storeroom hours and the requests of outlets The ability to extend all requisitions on a daily basis and turn in to the F&B Controller The ability to ensure perpetual inventory for all items is kept current and variances are at a minimum The ability to ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping food storage area in strict compliance with health code regulations The ability to monitor and take inventory on regular basis, i.e. daily for produce, dairy and bread, or on specific days for meat, etc, to compile orders based either on par levels or needs The ability to reduce spoilage level and systemize stock rotation by ensuring first in – first out The ability to issue a slow moving stock list at least once each month The ability to be responsible for stores keys through security to safeguard against unauthorized personnel gaining entry The ability to perform all duties that are usually performed by storeroom clerks The ability to define par stock levels on all store items The ability to communicate efficient with supporting department heads like Executive Chef, Director of F&B and Executive Housekeeper The ability to understand the delivery terms of the different store items, which includes lead-time, shelf-live, supplier etc. The ability conduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels The ability to open and examine incoming correspondence, re-routing mail when appropriate and gather data necessary for response The ability to handle telephone calls following the standards of Four Seasons Hotels The ability to ensure proper and correct communication between the storeroom and other staff

The ability to maintain files The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation The ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the Hotel, Home Office, owners, etc The ability to learn and use various programs in personal computers The ability to maintain a friendly, caring and helpful attitude with all hotel personnel The ability to assist in the preparation of reports as required by the Director of Purchasing The ability to keep informed as to the daily hotel activities The ability to participate in scheduled meetings as requested The ability to understand the basic food, beverage and general store items The ability perform any additional duties as assigned
