Roles & Responsibilities
To perform daily maintenance activities to run the plant safely and efficiently without interruption. Weld Carbon
steel, stainless steel, nickel, and other exotic metallurgy by TIG and ARC welding. The welder is under the
instruction of a supervisor and is responsible for welding, cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals using various
welding and cutting processes on pipe, structural steel, pressure vessel, and related plant equipment.
Comply with Nama policies and Safety procedures and contribute to achieve target SHE rates as well as
comply with quality procedures and NAMA ISO certified standards.
Perform daily maintenance activities according to Standard Maintenance Procedures with high quality and
reasonable time and ensure proper filling and record of the maintenance checklist. Also, ensure proper
housekeeping after activity completion.
Proper feedback to his supervisor on any findings or abnormality during performing his job.
Response to operation and maintenance activities (normal and emergency cases) attend on-call if |
assigned. :
Attend all on-job and classroom training sessions and all other training scheduled.
Carbon steel plate using shielded metal arc welding and TIG welding.
Carbon steel, Stainless steel, nickel, and exotic pipe welding using shielded metal arc welding and TIG
welding.
Fabricate pipe supports, pipe shoe supports, tank fabrication, and structural platforms.
Boiler tube welding.
Handle oxy-acetylene torch, grinding machines, and plasma arc cutter.
