JOB TITLE

JOB DESCRPTION/REQUIREMENTS

  1. VENDOR INSPECTORS

V1.1 Procurement Quality Control Supervisor

He shall have a university degree or equivalent and seven (7) years inspection experience or a high school diploma with ten years inspection experience with a minimum of three (3) years directly relating to supervision of vendor inspection activities.

V1.2 Mechanical / Welding Inspector

Inspector shall be certified as an American Welding Society (AWS) CWI, CSWIP 3.2 Certified Welding Inspector, or NGHC approved equivalent. Inspector shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes such as American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 510, 570, 620 and 650, AWS D1.1, required for the execution of the WORK. He must be NACE Corrosion Certified Technologist.

V1.3 Rotating Equipment Inspector

Inspector shall have an adequate knowledge of at least the design & manufacture of rotating equipment, such as pumps, compressors, generators, turbines and motors. Inspector shall be able to attend Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and report any dynamic, vibration and/ or high temperature problems. Inspector shall be able to interpret dynamic and vibration analysis. Inspector shall have experience in final inspection of on-skid machineries for any leakage, damages and pre- shipment

V1.4 Coating Inspector

Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge and proven ability of all phases and types of critical coating applications and methods and recognized industry standards. The coating inspector shall be qualified to British Grade 1 or National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) Level II Critical Coatings Certification, Certification Scheme for Welding and Inspection Personnel (CSWIP) Level I, or COMPANY approved equivalent. He must have four (4) years of coating inspection experience.

V1.5 Electrical / Instrumentation Inspector

Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the National Electric Code/NFPA 70, or equivalent standards. He shall also have working knowledge of electrical installations including materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries. He must be NFPA 70 Certified or equivalent. He shall satisfy the requirements of a fully qualified Instrument Technician/ Engineer meeting the requirements laid out by the Instrument Society of America or the Institute of Measurement Control

V1.6 HVAC System Inspector

Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of codes such as the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning CONTRACTORs National Association (SMACNA) codes Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 90A, ASHRAE Handbooks and/or equivalent standards

V1.7 Quality Auditor

The Quality Management System Auditor(s) must be a degreed mechanical, electrical or civil engineer. He shall have five (5) years of experience in conducting audits of manufacturing plants involved in related industry. The auditor shall have satisfactorily completed an accredited quality management system lead auditor course and passed the course examination. He shall be a registered lead auditor with a recognized body. The auditor should be fully experienced in the use of quality management system standards. The auditor shall be proficient in all phases of audits and meet the personal attributes, knowledge and skills requirements of ISO-19011. The auditor must have excellent reading, writing and oral communication skills in English language.

C1.1 Project Quality Lead

Shall have university degree or equivalent and minimum 10 years Quality experience, with five years experience in quality management. Shall have demonstrated experience in different inspection disciplines, Directs and monitors the application of quality manpower to ensure that guality inspection and testing commitments are met. Evaluates Inspector performance and conducts inspector training. Performs assigned administrative functions as required for the proper control and supervision of quality personnel.

C1.2 Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Inspector

Inspector shall have minimum five (5) years hands-on inspection experience of rotating machineries such as pumps, compressors, generators, turbines, gears and motors, and stationary equipment such as filters and reciprocating equipment. Inspector shall have experience with equipment setting and leveling, as well as preliminary, final alignment and testing.

C1.3 Stationary Equipment Inspector

Inspector shall demonstrate working knowledgeable of codes and standards, such as ASME Sec I, V, VIII and IX, ANSI B31.31418. NACE and API 6201650 and AWS D1,I and testing equipment including Positive Material Identification test equipment required for the inspection of mechanical commodities.

C1.4 Piping Inspector

Inspector shall demonstrate working knowledge of codes and NGHC Standard, such as SES, ASME Sec I, V, VIII and IX, ANSI B31.31418 and API 6201650 and AWS D1.I and API 570 certified piping inspector, required for the execution of the Inspection work. As a minimum, he shall have the experienced with the expected works.

C1.5 (a) Electrical Inspector

Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of SEC Standard codes, the National Electrical Code I NFPA 70, IEC or equivalent standards. Where, Inspection of Cathodic Protection equipment is required, inspector must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of applicable requirements of NACE or equivalent corrosion standards.

C1.5 (b) H.V. Electrical Inspector

Inspector shall have five (5) years documented experience in the field of inspection of 380kv and above GIS switchgear, power transformers, overhead transmission lines, HV buried cables, STATCOM and generators. Inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of SEC Standard codes, the National Electrical Code I NFPA 70, IEC or equivalent standards. Where, Inspection of Cathodic Protection equipment is required, inspector must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of applicable requirements of NACE or equivalent corrosion standards.

C1.6 Renewable Energy Electrical Inspector

Inspector shall have five (5) years documented experience in the field of inspection of power generation equipment and installation of renewable energy systems (PV solar systems and/or Wind turbines) through all construction phases material receiving, storage, preservation, installation, site accepta
