Roles & Responsibilities
Adheres to Project purchasing and procurement guidelines, ensures that all work undertaken is delivered on time and to specification.
Improves the quality of service to achieve best value and best practice.
Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among suppliers.
Tracks the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
Contacts suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
Follow up until delivery of materials at site and closing the PO
Large experience in the workshop items / spare parts
Prepares, maintains, and reviews procurement files, reports and price lists.
Provides support & information to all project levels.
Builds up a portfolio of approved suppliers
Liaises with users and other relevant parties.
Processes invoices verification.
Performs any other related duties as assigned.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized/reputed University
Minimum 4 to 6 years’ experience of total construction experience in Procurement roles.
If you have a transferable IQAMA the better
Professional working proficiency (written and oral) of English language and Arabic added advantage.
