Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure the contractor is complying with the standards and specifications of the contract documents through observation, measurement and testing as well as tracking quality assurance progress.
Maintain records of the contractor manpower and equipment daily resources.
Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Engineer.
Document in the areas assigned to the Inspector, the contractor’s personnel and equipment, activities observed, location of activities, the reason for activities, and means and methods utilized.
Report on materials delivery and follow and implement any site instructions made by the leader.
Prepare any site measurements and surveying checks needed by the leader.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in quality control/assurance or construction inspection are advantageous.
Proven experience as a quality control inspector in the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Strong attention to detail and excellent observational and analytical skills.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions based on established guidelines.
Proficient in using inspection tools, equipment, and software applications.
