Dutco Construction Group started operations in the United Arab Emirates in the 1970s. The Group comprises of the following Companies:

– BK Gulf LLC – Leading MEP Contractor

– BK GCC – Leading MEP & Civils Contractor in KSA

– DBB Contracting LLC – Leading Civils & MEP Contractor

– Dutco Construction LL – Leading Building Contractor

We employ more than 10,000 people, making us one of the largest construction companies in the region with an extensive track record in large-scale projects including power stations, reservoirs, hotels, airport infrastructure and port development.

Many of the country’s highways, tunnels and bridges have been engineered and built by us, allowing the use of our in-house asphalt, concrete, plant, and machinery.

For almost 50 years we have built a strong and loyal client base across both the public and private sectors whilst working on the UAE’s iconic projects.

We are expanding our HSE Team to support various projects in KSA, and we are looking to recruit HSE Manager, key duties will be:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies specific to the construction project.
  • Ensure alignment with KSA and federal safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Establish safety goals and objectives for the project.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification for all project activities.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate safety risks and ensure the well-being of workers and the public.
  • Implement safety controls, engineering solutions, and administrative measures.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for project personnel.
  • Ensure all workers are adequately trained in safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety-related issues.
  • Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain records of incidents and investigations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of the construction site.
  • Perform safety audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies and external auditors when necessary.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
  • Implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
  • Manage hazardous materials and waste disposal in accordance with regulations.
  • Develop emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as fires, chemical spills, and natural disasters.
  • Conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain detailed records of safety and environmental activities.
  • Generate regular reports on safety performance and compliance for project stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements and corrective actions.
  • Communicate safety and environmental expectations to all project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Attend project meetings and provide updates on HSE matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in HSE management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, NEBOSH & OSH, Sa).
  • Extensive experience in HSE management in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HSE management software and tools.
