Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

To manage the flow and movement of products inclusive of raw material, trading products,

manufacturing goods, etc. at the local and foreign level.

• Managing ADC/Bahrain warehouse import and export operations

• Linking business functions and activities to support optimization based on current and future


• Managing Saudi import and export operations

• Preparing H.S. codes in accordance with import and export regulations

• Working with AFI America operations and satellite office to ensure on time delivery

• To source and manage suppliers according to the operating territory in the most efficient process

• To set up and negotiate contracts with local and foreign suppliers.

• Supporting cash flow through implementing credit facilities.

• Reporting performance of thre e (3) departments at an operations level including (Warehouse,

Purchasing, and Logistics) at the branch, company, and head office level.

• Facilitating and managing the logistics process, while developing lean processes to reduce shipping


• To support im provements of product time to market.

• Working closely with sales/factory to ensure customer expectations are met through SIOP meetings

• Reviewing and analyzing inventory/stock levels at the branch level in correlation with market


• Ensuring proper ERP processes are being utilized.

• Reviewing and managing quarterly cycle counting across the group.

• Overviewing, regulating, and implementing SOP’s and lean processes.

• Setting up work instructions by task so as to create standardization.

• Ensuring local and fo reign suppliers comply with Quality Standards.

• Working with quality to validate suppliers.

• Setting up supplier creation and approval processes to ensure the highest standard is achieved

based on material provided to customers, and in accordance with standbased on material provided to customers, and in accordance with standards set by customersards set by customers

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, college, or institute.

• At least 2 years of experience within the respective supply chain field.

• Management and leadership capabilities.

• FIFO methodology

• Technical understanding of the departments within a supply chain.

• Ability to communicate across departments.

• Understanding of supply chain terms.

• Related territory requirements in th e GCC according to supply chain best practice.

• At least 1 year of ERP system experience.

• Ability to use the necessary tools to plan, develop, improve, forecast, and implement metrics and valuations

to support efficiency, optimization, and utilization of such tools.

• Identify and manage risk associated with movement of goods and services.

• Development of employees within the respective departments.

• Implementing inventory control methods

• Implementing purchase control methods

• Competent English ( written and verbal)

• Monitoring performance

• Ability to resolve problems quickly

• Develop reports based on management requirements

• Basic concepts of HS&E regulations

• ISO 9001 general understanding of regulations and standards
