Job Description

Tiffany and Co. is hiring a Marketing & Communications Manager for the Middle East & Africa business. Reporting into the Vice President – Middle East & Africa, this role will implement the PR and events strategy and budget planning for the cluster’s retail and trade accounts. The Marketing & Communications Manager will partner closely with the regional teams to create and execute country-specific Communication and event plans/strategies that align with the overall regional strategy, broaden the insight into the local consumer by conducting research and sourcing other relevant marketing information, contribute through local insights into building the media plans that communicate a global luxury brand identity and drive product demand, and increase brand awareness through well developed and executed public relations events. The role leads a team of three.

Regional Brand & Creative ManagementDevelop and recommend, with the support of the regional head, marketing strategies to maximize the market potential while reflecting global brand positioning.Lead strategy and execution of all marketing programs and projects, including across all media/web platforms.Collaborate with central, agency and trade partners to implement creative plans in line with the regional promotional calendars. Partner with merchandising to gather and synthesize data related to creative briefs/new ad requests.Review media plan submissions for each trade partner, identify creative fulfillment implications, aligning local advertising needs with brand guidelines, develop briefs for any customized creative needed to leverage local market opportunities.Develop regional plan for CRM initiatives targeted towards customers.Manage post campaign reports and reviews for the NY Central Marketing team.Identify local social calendars and content generation, media planning, special social media based events and integration with all other disciplines, development of new social media channels. PR ManagementGuide the PR agency to ensure they understand and work in line with central brand messaging.Manage assets – draft briefs to develop local press assets, coordinate product loans, attend photoshoots where necessary. Ensure appropriate localization of content.Maintain strong relationships with key press and identify opportunities for high visibility brand and product stories across MEA in partnership with Regional lead.Build awareness of all social trends within the luxury retail industry and share best practices.Partner with agency/vendors to compile and present competitive campaign recaps. Regional Competitive TrendsPartner with agencies to track, compile and present competitive campaign recaps to help inform central marketing team.Monitor and report on cultural, competitive and luxury industry trends information on an ongoing basis.Monitor and report on best in class CRM tactics to inspire Tiffany programs by segment.Identifying of all internal and external collateral needed by market.Be aware of all trends within the luxury retail industry and share best practices. Leadership & PartnershipLead Marketing & PR team with clear and transparent communications, promoting ideas and recommendations, and supporting teamwork by building trust with colleagues and business partners.Influence cross-functional teams, Trade Partners and Central NY Marketing teams through effective communication.Maintain a partnership and consult with regional Merchandising to ensure coordination of product and promotional efforts.
