Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary and Purpose:

Managing the daily activities of configuration, maintenance, patching, updating, and troubleshooting of the Server Infrastructure. Optimizing physical and virtual systems and resource utilization, while continuing to provide system capacity analysis and planning. Assists with development to include a viable quality assurance process for monitoring and managing the computing environment throughout the life cycle.

Key Accountabilities:

Maintains the Server Infrastructure of the organization.
Install & Configure MS Windows 2012/2016/2019 Server OS . Deep understanding of Server OS Baseline Configuration, AD-GPO, File/Folder Replication and Windows Domain knowledge.
Plan and execute the installation of Windows Security patches and troubleshoots Server problems.
Active Directory Administration and Management.
Experience in provisioning of services, monitoring, upgrading hardware and software, configuration management, and understanding and maintaining services, such as AD DFS, FTP, DNS, DHCP and bare metal builds from scratch with/without domain service.
Vmware vSphere management experience (ESXi, vCenter, etc)
Hypervisor management
HA, DRS management
Datastore management
vMotion/SAN vMotion management
Snapshot management
Troubleshooting vSphere issue.
Storage Area Network (SAN) experience (DELL- EMC),
Creating/modifying/removing LUN
Assigning LUN
Zoning on switch
Troubleshooting storage issue
Restoration of VMs and physical servers.
Knowledge of DR System components setup replication methodologies & there functioning.
Administration & Maintenance of Dell Storage Replication Appliance for Primary & DR Site.
Administration & Maintenance of DELL Hyper converged Systems (DELL VXRAIL).
Creating/modifying/removing backup jobs.
Troubleshooting backup issue.
Install, configure and manage Microsoft O365 products such as Exchange Online, SharePoint ,Teams , OneDrive, Intune , MFA , Azure AD , Azure Information Protection & Azure ATP.
Hands on Windows system and clustered compute management including patching, scripting, performance analysis, and system recovery and disaster planning.
Experience with ticketing system and opening/closing/transferring problem tickets
Data-center/Server Operational Components (Monitoring, Management, etc.)
Asset Management experience with tools and process.
Basic network administration experience.
Vendor certifications in (Microsoft, VMWare & DELL EMC SAN).
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing.
Provide weekly status reports to Supervisor
Ability to Multitask.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ engineering.
8 years proven successful relevant experience in similar role.
