Roles & Responsibilities
1. Monitor and follow up all the Laboratory activities in the Operations Laboratory. Also, implements QE’s Policy on training and development of Lab personnel.
2. Provide technical solution in supporting processing facilities operation problem which related to analytical process.
3. Produce reliable analytical test results that will be used by QE internal customers to make decision and optimization of facilities.
4. Ensure analysis of liquified gas products such as propane, butane & natural gasoline streams, NF Light & Heavy Naphtha & Liquid Feed streams. Advises NGL plant management of test results, excursion from normal operating limits and suggests corrective action.
5. Ensure calibration and maintenance program for all analytical equipment use in the Laboratory are effective.
6. Evaluate and verify the performance of chemicals proposed by suppliers such as amines. Glycols, caustic, acids, and others.
7. Review, evaluate and validate analytical methods used in the laboratory to ensure it is updated and complied with international standard.
8. Develop, implement and monitor the quality control program to ensure the test results are accurate and reliable.
9. Plan and implement latest laboratory technologies to support the demand and complexity of oil and gas productions.
10. Manage installation and commissioning of all newly equipment’s.
11. Ensure effective quality management systems are implemented to support all laboratory activities.
12. Manage chemicals, and laboratory utensils to ensure zero service interruption in providing analytical services to oil and gas productions.
13. Visit Plants or operating areas as required by obtaining information pertaining to assigned projects .
14. Manage all Laboratory data and system to ensure easily retrievable all Laboratory clients.
15. Coordinate and monitor laboratory activities in supporting various oil and gas functions by providing reliable and safe analytical services.
16. Ensure full product quality control for all plants operations are within international product specifications and ensure that the certificate all products export as per international standards.
17. Determines laboratory work methods from various established alternatives within the framework of professional and internationally recognized standards and procedures and provides specialist advice to Supervisor on laboratory analyses. 18.Ensure accurate product export analysis to avoid lawsuit/demurrage from buyers.
19. Participates in monitoring and control of expenses related to MO Lab activities. Coordinate and optimize preventive maintenance, main repair of MO Lab equipment, purchases of spare parts, consumption of chemicals.
20. Close monitor of quality of the exported products.
