Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
– Understand and promote design philosophies and current trends throughout the profession, including planning and strategies, design and space planning, overall building design concepts, design software technology and delivery methods within the company expectations.

– Review Contractors submittals

– Liaise with Operator/Client for approvals

– Supervise work progress.

– Work closely with designers, Architects, and constructors.

– Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, space planning and new constructions)

– Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and all installations.

– Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design programs

– Excellent portfolio of previous works

– Understand and ensure implementation of all aspects and phases of the architectural, design and production process. Follow up with the Interior Unit Group Leaders and teams for maintaining effective teamwork. Notify Unit Head of potential conflicts or deficiencies.

– Provide oversight of the technical aspects of the Interior Unit’s project delivery including implementation of project document planning, standards and quality assurance.

– Collaborate with Group Leaders as needed to monitor the development of the project delivery documentation.

– Collaborate with the Group Leaders as needed to monitor and ensure proper coordination with engineering trades and specialty consultants.

– Facilitate training to improve knowledge of staff including support and utilization of the company Academy training system. Ensure staff are fully trained in REVIT and uphold REVIT as main platform for all Interior Architecture project work.

– Facilitate ongoing organization of seminars and lectures for new methods, materials or furnishings with company Librarian, Interior Finishing and Furnishing Specialists in coordination with the Unit Head.

Desired Candidate Profile
– Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering and/or Interior Design from a reputable university.

– Master degree is plus.

– Minimum 15 years of working experience.

– Very Good command of the English language.
