Roles & Responsibilities
10 years shift leadership/supervisory experience in large scale MTBE / Ammonia / Methanol plant. Experience shall include supervision and motivation of shift teams, commissioning and start up, SOP preparation, process equipment troubleshooting, work permit system, emergency handling and firefighting, plant performance monitoring and commissioning & start up
Detailed and expert process knowledge of Methanol plant operation.
Sound understanding of all relevant plant and equipment.
Exposure to petrochemical production practices and techniques.
Desired Candidate Profile
Excellent process equipment operational skills including DCS knowledge.
Strong ability to handle emergency situation under pressure.
Excellent skills in PC operation using MS office, Oracle ERP suites, Lotus Notes 5 etc.
Effective and professional communication skills to act as the bridge between the management and floor shop workers.
Ability to perform under pressure especially during plant emergencies to ensure safety of personnel and equipment’s.
Effective counselling techniques with convincing ability.
Ability to develop conducive work environment even under adverse working conditions.
Capability to teach, mentor and train personnel.
