Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
Provides a leadership and resource role in the provision of holistic care in different settings.
Addresses issues at the assigned workplace using a problem-solving framework. Initiates the nursing or medical/administrative chain of command is unable to resolve issues satisfactorily.
Submit reports needed concerning patient care and company requirements.
delegates appropriate tasks and lead the care of patients and clients.
Provides direct holistic care utilizing the nursing process and unit specific policies and procedures, standards and protocols, etc.
Demonstrate knowledge and appropriate clinical assessment skills.
Takes direct and appropriate action in urgent and emergency situations.
Documents all assessment, interventions, and other pertinent information in the guest’s/ patient’s health care record in timely and ongoing manner.
Promotes continuity of care through verbal and written communication.
Administer first aid treatments and provide medications for employees as needed.
Assess the safety standard in the healthcare setting and see if any work conditions for the employees are hazardous.
Maintain patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Practices nursing within the scope of practice based on standard and attend evidence-based practice workshops.
Assumes responsibility for own professional growth identifying those areas of clinical knowledge and skills that need future development.
Undertakes continuing professional development in compliance with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must have at least 3 years experience as Staff Nurse after obtaining license to practice from home country
