Roles & Responsibilities

As a member of Munich Re the MedNet Group is a leading Third-Party Administrator across the MEA region. We are currently seeking to hire a Senior HR Officer – Omani National , who will be responsible Identifying and sourcing for appropriate talent for the open roles, whilst applying best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and help HR Manager in handling HR functional responsibilities including leave management, HR documentation, training arrangements in alignment with the regional HR governance framework.
Your Job :
• Support in Identifying and sourcing for appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization.
• Post vacancies on MedNet Career Page, Internet and cross-post to commercial job platforms such as LinkedIn and receive/ manage applications through this system accordingly.
• Manage the recruitment process in close cooperation with the hiring manager while taking MedNet & MR guidelines on job postings, short listing and interviews with potential candidates.
• Ensuring that appropriate interview and assessment processes are being deployed to meet the company s manpower requirements and ensure all assessment forms are completed on the system by the hiring manager and/or recruitment panel and make sure to send apology letters to candidates who were interviewed but not selected.
• Conduct referral checks and issue offer letters as required, ensuring smooth on boarding of employees.
• Train Team Leaders and Managers on on-boarding program before joining date of the employee.
• Preparing Orientation on first day of the new joiner on his/her first day in coordination with the Hiring Manager & HR Manager & other department heads to ensure that the Company will effectively deliver the company message and standards to the new employee in an understandable manner with high level of quality
• Responsible of preparing employee’s personal file and maintain updates when occur.
• Manage and promote the eLearning system to the employees and managers
• Participate and help in the implementation of Human Resources projects and initiatives with the objective of elevating the function to a credible partner of the business line and to add value.
• Preparation of HR reports related to Recruitment, Training and Performance Management in a timely and accurate manner to meet MedNet policies and standards, and department requirements.
Your profile :
• Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or Higher Diploma or equivalent with specialization in Human Resources Management and/ or Psychology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the areas of recruitment and/or talent management and training in a multi-national organization.
• Experience in Oracle HR system would be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word Document, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English & Arabic.
• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Omani labor law, Tax law and Social Security law.
• Good problem-solving skills
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or Higher Diploma or equivalent with specialization in Human Resources Management and/ or Psychology.
Minimum Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the areas of recruitment and/or talent management and training in a multi-national organization.
• Experience in Oracle HR system would be a plus.
