Roles & Responsibilities
OPERATION & MAINTENANCE

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, all Diesel Generator plant electrical equipment, apparatus an fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnose malfunctioning system, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Test electrical system and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Demonstrate self-motivational drive in learning new technologies as they apply.
Installation, maintenance or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures shall be properly managed.
DG’s shall be maintained in such a condition that they shall give SFC minimum 3.5 to 4.0.
Have a basic understanding of belts, belt drives, chain drives, gear boxes, and conveyors.
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
HSE/QHSE

Accept full responsibility for all safety procedures as stated in the JSA (Job Safety Analysis).
Communicate appropriately with the other station staffs, engineers, supervisors and managers.
Service, clean, and inspect equipment periodically following established PMs (Preventative Maintenance)
Safely operate all mobile equipment such as overhead crane & steam cleaner etc.
Enforce Safety procedures, environmental and issuing of work permits. Monitor HSE Notice board.
Adhere to LOTO (Lock out Tag Out) procedure.
All DG set shall be maintained in clean, good condition.
Communicate appropriately with the other station staff, engineers, supervisors and managers.
DOCUMENTATION/REPORT

Perform duties such as maintaining all electrical maintenance records and files, Understand and help maintain work orders, preventative maintenance system and n SAP.
Electrical items inventory shall be properly maintained DG wise.
Read and interpret electrical schematics Demonstrate the initiative to investigate and offer improvements to our plant operation.
Make up a bill of materials as required in advance for next 3 months (Quarterly) & it shall be submitted to Engineer before the end of last month of each quarter months.
Create notifications and follow up on repairs
Assisting Engineers as requested & maintaining record of attendance & taking counter signature of maintenance engineer.
Maintaining Report/list related to Fault, maintenance, tools, spare part (required or used), station store inventory (in/out), etc.
Utilize problem solving techniques in interacting with other employees in resolving issues.
Evaluate and make recommendations to change PM (Preventative Maintenance) schedule or contents
Desired Candidate Profile
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Effectively communicate with reporting head.
Takes responsibility for all the work assigned.
Min 5-8 years of experience in the relevant field.
