Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform testing and commissioning of protection relays in substations.
- Develop test plans and procedures for relay testing.
- Analyze and interpret test results to ensure proper functioning of relays.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with relays and associated equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure relay performance meets requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for relay testing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field technicians and other team members.
- Participate in equipment and system upgrades and modifications.
- Conduct training sessions for technicians and operators on relay testing procedures.
- Good knowledge on Company Standards, Shell Group DEP’s and International Standards. Full understanding of “non-standard” Vendor documentation and its interface points with Company engineering documents.
