Senior Procurement Officer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers
Continuous research in market for food and beverage suppliers to take advantage on cost
Estimate and establish budgets for purchases
Review all vendors and suppliers
Maintain purchase records and other important data
Negotiate pricing and supply contracts
Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies
Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
Maintain and update a list of suppliers
Maintaining control over inventory
Keeping track on delivery terms of goods/materials and ensuring delivery on time
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate should possess relevant experience in food and beverage/catering industry
Ideal candidate should possess experience in buying frozen, dry, and fresh food items as well as non-food items in bulk
Bachelor Degree/ Diploma from Reputed institution
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as Procurement officer
Valid Driving license in Oman
Candidate should be available in Oman for interview
