Sales Engineer – Audiovisual products

Job Description

We, Thomsun Trading Establishment, are looking for a Sales Engineer to help maintain and develop our business in Oman market.

Thomsun Trading started distribution of the complete range of famous musical and audio products in 1990 and since then has grown and expanded over the years to become a leading name in the musical and audio products Industry in UAE.

A Sales Engineer is an integral part of the AV team. This role will collaborate with the sales team to secure pre-sales and post sales requirements, requiring a strong understanding of audio-visual principles, practices and design. The Sales Engineer must have substantial communication skills to interface with System Integrators, Consultants, Architects, Contractors, Project Managers etc. This role will work directly with Customers, Sales, Project Management and Field Technicians.

Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

· Build and maintain relationships by assisting customers in every step of the sales process from selecting and purchasing merchandise to the follow through after the sale.

· Design and implement strategic sales plans that expand our customer base and ensure a strong market presence.

· Demonstrate merchandise to customers and have the knowledge of product lines to best match the customer’s needs.

Sales Engineer Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience with in the Audiovisual industry

· Graduate in Electronics & Communications

· Oman driver’s license holder
