Roles & Responsibilities
Main tasks and responsibilities

· Participates in the evaluation of the technical and information architecture for the BI \ AI matter.

· Participates in the evaluation of the enterprise-wide data modelling and database design in accordance with data governance framework

· Study, Mapping and contribute in evaluating data and indicators that will be export to the data warehouse.

· Supports BI\AI specialists in working with end users to translate business questions and requirements into applications that employ the appropriate reporting tools

· Contribute in the evaluation of all Data documents that will be delivered from the vendor.

· Contribute in the evaluation of the company’s work taken in consideration the general framework and scope of work for designing the Smart Platform and participating in the follow-up of the implementation phase.

· Contribute in the evaluation of the Data framework for the NCSI that will provided by vendor.

· Contribute in Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.

· Contribute in Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.

· Contribute and suggest Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.

· Support in Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.

· Assists in the evaluation, selection, testing, and optimization of BI/DW related hardware and software products.

· Participates in all Data Warehouse Project technical meetings and that include Study and implementation phases.

· Evaluation of the final outputs of the project.

· Preparing technical reports for the project.

· Provide coaching, monitoring, on job training and enhance capacity building for Department team

· Participate in other related work.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

· Must have a Bachelor‘s degree or higher in a in Information Technology fields

· Must have minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist, AI, Data Management (GCC / Oman Experience Preferred)

· Experience in data mining

· Understanding of machine-learning and operations research

· Experience of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset

· Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop)

· Analytical mind and business acumen

· Strong math skills (e.g., statistics, algebra).

· Experience in Linux/Unix platform will be plus

· Experience in providing support in development, implementation and administration of the Ministry / government framework.

· Strong experience with ETL and design principles and industry best practices

· Experience in requirements gathering and creating functional and business specifications

· Should have experience of conducting technical trainings and providing technical advisory

· Good communication skills both written and verbal

· Native Arabic Speaker / Knowledge of Arabic language is a must

· Contract Duration: 1 Year & Extendable
