Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety policies, laws and regulations
Carry out major overhaul with minimum supervision on diesel engines.
Carry out corrective maintenance on diesel engine.
Carry out condition monitoring based maintenance on diesel engines.
Troubleshooting and diagnostic of mechanical faults on diesel engines and associated auxiliaries.
Carry out standard mechanical measurements and tests.
Carry out re-conditioning on engine components as recommended by OEM..
Respond to upset conditions, as reported by the Power Station Operator in the station defects log book.
Ensure all special tools and other hand tools are utilized in a proper manner.
Ensure that the Power Station’s maintenance, operations, vendor maintenance, and repair manuals are properly filed.
Perform planned and corrective maintenance as directed and as needed and to account for all parts and materials, supplies and fluids used in the performance of that work

Desired Candidate Profile
Experience:

8 years experience in mechanical maintenance in a large diesel power station with minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory position.
Must have experience in Diesel Power Plant.
