Roles and Responsibilities
• Experienced with the hydrotest procedures including preparation of hydrotest procedures, calculations, water quality requirements, cleaning, gauging, water filling, pressurization, depressurization, drying, preservation, hydrotest equipment and instrumentation requirements.
• Knowledge of and adherence to CONTRACTOR and project specific health, safety and environmental plans and procedures.
• Shall attend regular safety, health and environmental awareness training provided by the company which will help meet the above requirements.
• Shall comply with all relevant procedures, guidance etc. relating to the work, which will ensure compliance with the CONTRACTOR safety management system.
• Manage/coordinate all hydrotest activities in a safe manner, within budget, on time and in accordance with applicable company procedures and technical/manufacturers specifications.
• Manage all hydrotest activities in accordance with agreed code of practice and procedures; CONTRACTOR and clients, ensuring technical integrity and HSE targets are met in a professional and cost effective manner.
• Maintain records and deliver timely and accurate updates. Take a proactive approach by providing workable solutions to reducing the company costs without compromising production targets or asset integrity.
• Manage large plant shutdowns pipelines and be fully aware of the requirement of work preparation, scheduling and execution.
• Ensure adequate procedures are in place for hydrostatic testing and flange make up/torqueing procedures.
• Contribute to the support and development of a competent and highly motivated staff with emphasis on Omanisation.
• Ensure after service completion reports are updated in SAP for recharge to client (Service entries by planner & QS). Support and deliver any new corporate initiative in line with CONTRACTOR and client.
• Challenges Optimisation of available resources at all times. Full compliance with CONTRACTOR-PDO HSE policies and procedures
Desired Candidate Profile
• To manage/coordinate hydrotest activities in the operational area to ensure that all works are completed according to applicable procedures and standards of workmanship. Got experience in managing HSE site activities.
• Degree/Diploma (BSc level) in engineering (Mechanical preferred). Membership of internationally accepted applicable professional institute.
• Experience Minimum of 12 years with experience in oil and gas or petrochemical company.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in pipeline hydrotest with different material of construction inducing CS, CS+PE lined, GRE, DSS…etc.)

Bachelor of Veterinary Science(Veterinary Sciences), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering
