Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
- Manage and supervise a team of accountants and clerks.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
- Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at monthly reports
