Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking to recruit several result-driven retail Sales Associates to be responsible for all sales job duties. You’d be responsible for the whole 9 yards in this B2C experience; from generating leads, meeting prospective clients to touring them around our fitness facilities based on their needs and finally closing in on the sale.

You should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales Associate at our fitness company, you should be overzealously passionate about health and wellness and in turn, walk the talk as well.

Ultimately, the duties of a Sales Associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the company’s sales goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidates should be proactive and driven individuals who are fluent in both English and Arabic. Passionate about fitness and living a healthy lifestyle, you would already have a sound background in sales.

Please note that during the interviews, you’ll be ask the following questions:

  • Ratios – call to appointment, show ratio & close ratio – do they know what these ratio’s are, furthermore, if these ratio’s are low how would they go about addressing those ratio’s?
  • Lead generation – it is a new club – other walk-ins how would they go about getting leads? How would they market the club if it was their own business to get the foot traffic?
  • 8 stages sales process – they would need to know the 8 stages – furthermore, a good understanding of a needs analysis is important.
  • Overcoming objections in the sales process – e.g. I need to check with my wife or the price is too high. How would they overcome this?
  • If you cannot use discounts how would sell the facility?
  • If they have been in sales before what was their strike rate in terms of hitting their budgets?
  • What are the qualities of a good membership consultant?
  • What do they think their greatest challenge will be in the first 3 months?
  • Are they aware of what a sales planner is?
  • If they have not worked in a health club how would they translate their existing skills to be successful?
