Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
· Effective Implementation of the established Q.A / QC system in the project for customer satisfaction.

· To ensure control of quality as per Standard codes / Contract specifications.

· Train and develop site QCE and execution engineer in quality assurance/quality control.

· Distribution of ISO procedures documents to site and departments.

· To co-ordinate with the site for preparing the quality plan.

· Review of quality objectives of sites during the monthly meetings.

· To co-ordinate, attend and follow up on Internal as well as External Quality Audits (BVQI) in the region.

· Review of Non Conformities with auditee and R.G.M.

· Sending report of compliance/audit reports to ISO cell.

· Check the adequacy of monthly corrective preventive reports from site

· Co-ordinate and review continual improvement in the region.

· Co-ordinate and conduct monthly review meetings with Q.A engineer of site.

· Arrange for half yearly customers feedback report.

· Coordinate to establish material testing lab at the site as per lab manual.

· Implementation of lab manual at the site in the region.

· Study of contract specifications, IS codes manuals for effective implementation of works in relation to quality of products.

· Keep check on testing frequency, acceptance/rejection criteria

· Monitor acceptance / rejection criteria and escalate if require

· Keep check on periodical calibration and recalibration of test equipment in major materials viz.; Shuttering items, plywood etc.

· Jointly interact with client for requirements and complaints related to quality as and when required

· Periodic visit sites for review of the quality of works and products.

· Inspection of works at periodic intervals for quality aspects.

· Suggesting remedial measures regarding quality observations

· Follow up on the implementation of remedial measures.

· Guide the site personnel for defect control.

· Conduct induction training programme for new joiners’.

· Give functional/technical training at the site or in meetings by way of presentations.

· Development of QC personnel competence

Desired Candidate Profile
1. B.E/B.Tech. (Civil) with a minimum of 15-20 years of experience from a reputed institute with good academic performance.

2. Should have experience of min 10 years in the gulf

3. Should have worked in Highrise buildings, commercial buildings, Hospital buildings, etc..

4. Candidate should have the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) approval

5. Candidate should be ready to join immediately or max 30 days with a local transferrable visa.
