Roles & Responsibilities
• Should Have Thorough Knowledge Of Electrical Design/ Enclosure Design/ Load Calculation Of Power Transformers & Distribution Transformers.

• Should Have Exposure To 132 Kv Class, 50Mva Transformers.

• Should Be Familiar With Stress Analysis (Pressure And Vacuum Test) Using Softwares.

• Should Be Well Versed With Detailed Engineering Working/ Lay-Out Drawing Preparation For Transformer.

• Should Be Able To Guide & Provide Tender Documents Like BOQ & Drawings Against Customer Specs.

• Should Be Able To Guide The Team Of Engineers/Draughtsmen In Their Routine/Scheduled Jobs.

• Should Be Able To Provide Technical Expertise To Other Stake Holders In Transformer Design/Manufacture/Testing.

• Should Have Attended Type Tests At International Labs And To Have Thorough Knowledge In Iec Standards/Stl Guide Lines/Test Procedures.

• Working Knowledge In Drafting Software Like Autocad 2D & 3D Is A Requisite.

To Summarize

A Team Leader (Having 10- 15 Years Experience In Similar Field) Who Can Manage A Department And Guide Group Of Engineers And Hence Following Attributes Are Essential:

A)In Depth Knowledge On Transformer Construction Aspects.

B)Thorough Experience In International Standards/STL Gudes/Testing & Certification Procedures Of Transformers.

C)Managerial Skills.

B.E. In Electrical/Mechanical With 10-15 Years Experience In Oil Filled Power Transformers And In Dry Type/Cast Resin Distribution Transformers
