Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee APC equipment and the automation procedure, providing regular maintenance and troubleshooting or resolving issues as they arise.
Monitor and report on economy, efficiency, and performance of the plant.
Develop improvements to enhance efficiency of processes, including adjusting software and physically arranging APC equipment.
Maintain and improve efficiency of industrial processes to maximize profitability.
Participate and lead internal and external APC&O networks to maintain strong reputation as an industry leader.
Desired Candidate Profile
Chemical Engineer with min 6 years of experience in Process Control Engineering in refineries Or petrochemical units
Minimum 3 years of Experience in Advanced Process Control(APC) with experience & skills in Process monitoring, Troubleshooting Control Issues.
Minnimum two years of experience in developing, configuring & maintaining Multivariable Predictive Controllers (Preferentially, AspenTech’s DMCPlus/DMC3) & associated toolsets.
Experience in configuring, tuning & maintaining DCS (preferentially Honeywell EXPERION System) loops & DCS based traditional advanced control strategies.
Experience in inferential (Product Quality) developments & maintenance.
Knowledge in Instrumentation & basic level of Programming skill is preferred.
