Roles & Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
• Prioritizing problems and decisions on the approach to problem-solving according to the company s objectives & timeline.
• Assisting and supervising the team when performing a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement).
• Designing systems and components that meet needs and requirements.
• Conducting experiments methodically and evaluations by analyzing data and interpreting results to improve and innovate product designs.
• Estimating budgets and time scopes for each project.
• Creating plans and designs using CAD technology.
• Ensure clear documentation of mechanical reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, and suppliers and develop partnerships
• Research and analyze market trends and competitor activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute business plans
• Prepare and deliver presentations on new project developments while providing a weekly report on progress and monitoring the progress of existing initiatives
• Measure the effectiveness of executed initiatives
• Manage expectations with stakeholders on deliverables
• Manage and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the project meets opening deadlines
Ideal Candidate
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• +4 years of experience in mechanical engineering in food production and processing
• Has access to local suppliers and a wide knowledge of the market in the hardware world
• Must have excellent communication and technical writing & speaking skills in English
• Must have working experience in fabrication/prototyping mechanical projects
• Solid understanding of core engineering principles
• Creativity and analytical skills
• Resourceful, flexible, adaptable, and problem solver
• Excited to work with cross-functional teams
• Passionate and seeking to learn
• Pleasant personality and ability to lead with empathy and patience
